Mutual Aid 101 is an ongoing program from Shareable that began with a popular online training series in Spring 2025, attended by thousands, and designed to introduce the core principles and practices of mutual aid. The program continues with new trainings every quarter, offering accessible and welcoming content for those just getting started, while drawing on the experience of seasoned mutual aid organizers and activists.
We hope you’ll join us on October 21, 2025 for “Tool Libraries, Mutual Aid & Community-led Disaster Response” and on November 20, 2025 for “Navigating Conflict.”
The initial Mutual Aid 101 series included four public sessions, which can be viewed on YouTube, plus two additional sessions that were not recorded. The information, resources, and wisdom from the presenters and attendees are synthesized in a free resource: the Mutual Aid Toolkit.
